The son and I decided to get into motovloging. We picked up a couple action cameras (Sena Prism & GoPro Hero4 Black), Bluetooth headsets(Sena 20S Dual Pack) and set up our youtube channel. Ok, that was the easy part. It seems when your helmet doesn't fit in your locker at work and you store it on the top of the lockers??? You should remove the GoPro and put it in the locker. So my son found out because somebody thought it was a free gift. Hind sight is always 20/20. So we put the Sena Prism on my sons helmet now because he does a lot more riding than me. Less than a week later. He comes home and tells me that the battery died way to fast. We plug it into my PC and the light will come on but that's all. After charging overnight... Nothing wow, really? So now we are waiting for a replacement Prism from Sena and my sons work is investigating the theft. I am trying to get them to replace the GoPro from their inventory even though we didn't buy the GoPro there. Probably not going to get it replaced Oh and get this. Just over a month after purchasing the Sena 20S dual pack...My 20S just starts shutting off while we were out on a ride. Sena is sending a replacement for my intercom too. Don't get me wrong. Sena has been great through this whole thing. No problems or issues. I think we just ended up with some bad units though my sons 20S works awesome. No problems at all. We are simply loving the Sena Prism and 20S's. They rock!!! In fact I am considering just getting a 2nd Prism instead of another GoPro. It shoots awesome video and it is so much better not having to purchase the backpack so we can get audio to the GoPro. I was using a chin mount for the GoPro and a long mic that just went under my helmet to my mouth. I have a Modular helmet and forget about the GoPro and raise up my chin bar thing and I have almost dropped it a few times. So, the youtube channel. BlackTopKings. Its me and my 17 year old son. My wife is just about ready to get her bike and hopefully she will join us on the motovlogs. So far we only have 4 videos up there... Nothing great. Just some video from my phone. We were able to get about 12 or so videos out riding before the camera situations, but I have yet to be able to sit down with the son and edit or get his approval on which ones he is comfortable uploading. I did spend a few hours with Sony Vegas 13 Pro yesterday and got a decent intro video made. Editting is a very, very...did I mention a very long process??? Wow!!! We need to get my daughter and her nice HD video cam and her Digital SLR camera out somewhere to shoot some good footage and pics for our main promo video. Hopefully we can get that all done this weekend as this process of getting the channel set up has been almost 2 1/2 months from concept to an actual finished project. I was able to get a decent logo made in Photoshop and Fireworks a few weeks ago too. Ok, enough talk. Check out the intro video please and if it looks cool?
