Has anyone had any luck with the Hong Kong replacement stancion tubes (5th gen)?

My tubes have some rust barnacles and I'm considering replacing them as opposed to having them refinished. I don't know what the cost of re-plating would be, but I imagine it's a pretty penny. So far I have been eyeing the stanchion tubes from partzilla for $168/tube. I'm hesitant to try the Ebay/Hong Kong tubes ($120 for the pair).

    Thanks!

Mine are being re-chromed. You'll have to do a currency conversion, but the cheapest aftermarkets were £84 each and poorly reviewed. The next most decent ones are £112 each. To strip, test, rechrome and send back by courier I'm spending £135 for a pair. I'm sure these sorts of prices are available to you over there from your local firms.
Look at this for an idea......http://www.dynasurf.co.uk/motorcycle-forks
