I'll be tackling the task of replacing the OEM brake/clutch lines to stainless steel ones this weekend/next week..

I was quoted 4-500 labor to install them at the Honda dealer.

Has anyone done this by themselves before? any tricks or tips to make the job easier?

Do you know what size Speed Bleeders I would need?

Do you have an on-line source to purchase them?
    ???
    Thank you

Good Luck! I spent 4 hours putting on Gaffer brake lines on. It was 11 lines total. A real pain in the butt to bleed. I did it the old fassion way, no vacum pumps. The bleeding only took 1 hour. Read the service manual, it helps.

SS lines with HH+ pads and you can hear the rotors zipping as you brake. Stops like one of those new superbikes now!

    Best modification I've done yet.

Has anyone out there installed the lines themselves. I'm currently in the middle of this install myself, and I'm running out of washers. I think I need two more to complete the installation, and I'll have 3 bolts left over. I also have 3 extra convex type washers. I found where two of the 5 that came with the kit go, but I'm not sure about the other three. Maybe I should have gone to a pro to do the install but I wasn't thrilled about paying $300 for labor. It hasn't been that difficult so far since I have the forks out to upgrade to race tech gold valves, rebounds, and springs. That's a whole other issue at the moment.
