I picked of a parts bike the other day and it came w/ new sprocket, and chain. The sizes are 16 front and 42 rear. Will this give me low end, or top end. Is it ok to run this on my bike. I'm looking for more low then top. Thanks for any info
say 16 in the front is stock and the rear stock should be 43 so you've just drop one tooth...but anytime you go down on teeth you gain top end and the when you go up you gain bottom end... i went to a 16/40 on mine and love it, it lets you use more from the bike
