    I hate to say it but on your bobber/streetfighter vfr I think that spoked rims would be sharp looking but I am sure you will gain some weight...

    Bobber owners probably do not care about a few ounces here and there just as long as there is NO plastic. Right???

    I think he is talking about a differant bike.. I don't think his is an 85 1k.

    I wouldn't put spokes on a sport bike... kind of an oxymoron IMHO.

    The first Honda four cylinder had spokes. Remember the CB400F?
    It had a six speed and was fast for its time.

    What about the 1998 Triumph Thunderbird Sport? Looks good and spokes are short.

    yes it is a diffrent bike but will be a streetfighter to that is all i build. And yes like harley rims. just trying something new. Dont want a bike like everyone else. thanks for the input.

    I understand.
    The factories love cast wheels. They are easy to make and require a lot less labor. They charge a lot more money too.
    Wire wheels are like $250.00-500. and the cast wheels or machined wheels can cost $1500.00 !!!
