    Simple... Where is the 3 wire speed sensor loom on a 2014+ VFR800 8th Gen.

    As for the actual sensor itself, I can't speak for the 2014 but it's worth a look. Check the clutch slave cylinder on the left side of the bike. The sensor may live in that assembly plate situated directly over the front sprocket (it does on the fifth gens at least). If there's some wires poking out of that area pretty safe bet that's what that is. There's a plastic socket that drives the sensor, it fits over the bolt holding the front sprocket to the counter shaft.

    I'd thought Honda may have moved to a wheel pickup, but the only thing I can find on the parts fiche for the wheels are the ABS sensor and associated pulse ring.
