my speedo died and I tested the cable by hooking it to my drill and it registered, so I'm left to assume the problem is with the junction that goes into the tranny. with the cable off, I had the bike on the stand and popped it into gear to see if I could detect rotation from the blade thingy that goes in the cable and there was no movement. so before I blow 80 bucks on this item, I wanted to know if anyone knew of a better test to figure if this is the problem? :redface:
