Speedo Cable Woes.

    I seem to be very hard on speedo cables... that is... I now need to purchase the 3rd cable inner in 7 months. Is it due to lack of lube on the inner prior to installation? Or is the after market supplier simply stocking shoddy products.

    Could be a little of both, or the triple digit speeds :wink:. Truthfully, I can't say for sure. Mine quit working at just over 50K, but it was not the cable, it was the head unit itself, which is about $200. :-(
