Spedometer Cable

    My cable is broken, the little washer is fine...

    How hard is it to replace ( i guess a 2 beers jobs)
    just asking for any heads up

    The service manual has no instructions for it

    Um - the 4G VFR has no speedo cable. There is an electrical pick-up sensor on the front sprocket housing.

    What year are you working on? A 90-93 has a speedo cable, I would be 1/2 way through my first beer by the time I was done swapping it out...

    Never seen one up close, but I imagine that you don't even need tools to remove the cable itself.

    is a 91
    I'll get the cable tomorrow i didn't think it was a hard job i was just something that needs to be done
    Not knowing your speed is kinda strange, just follow the traffic..


    Most of the time is the little washer that fails, mine's ok my cable is broken.

    I'll remove it today and tomorow install the new one
