Thought you all might be interested in something I thru together...

I think it's clear the new bike is a replacement for the Blackbird, since it's specs are almost identical.

Also, check out how much more "non-sporting" the steering geometry is on the K1300S. Note also the tank is virtually the same size. Not to mention I have read they have some serious fueling issues...

Just some thoughts, and thought y'all'd be interested.

The HP and Tq to weight is the number of lbs carried per HP/Tq. Lower number obviously better.

And I flipped the rake/trail, just invert the row titles...

Thanks Echo. This is good stuff !

Too bad Suzy doesn't make a light weight sport-touring machine with their Hayabusa

motor with different cams to maximum torque at a lower RPM, kind of like what they

did years ago with the Katana 1100 and the gixer engine.

    Thanks again Echo.

    Carry On ~

'Tanks for the props, and I'm glad you liked it.

I'm with you on the Suzy issue, I wish they'd do the same thing Kawi did with the C14 only with the 'Busa, only in traditional Suzy form lean more on the sporting side, that'd be great!

They are bringing out a new full-fairing "ST" for 2010, but it's really just a fully faired Bandit 1250 from what I've read.
