What do you mean you cant find fairings? Did you look on ebay lately? There have been alot of 4G fairings on there the last month or so. And if you want new ones, ServiceHonda is who you need to contact. I just bought a new left upper for $300 shipped, half of what the dealer wants.

The OEM parts come painted and ready to bolt on. I rebuilt my '95 with panels bought from RonAyers and saved a ton. Service Honda should be the same.

Check out this guy for fiberglass replacement pannels. vfrchuck@bright.net I got a complete kit for my '86 $650 + shipping... Head light fairing, both lowers, side pannels, tail section, upper inners, and all fairing stays. All pannels come with a nice med-gloss white gel coat. Looked so good, I never bothered to have mine painted. BTW this guy has 100% feedback on fleabay (no I diddn't win/order on ebay) I contacted him directly from a link I found on this site or maybe VFRD many many moons ago.
Not sure what he makes for other generations.

I bought the front, rt. side, and rear cowls from hondadirectline.com and saved quite a bit over Service Honda's price. That was for my '04.
You have to call the parts manager and order over the phone. If you mention that you're on VFRD it's 10% off and FREE shipping.
