    honda 86 interceptor

Found this '86 for sale on Craigslist & figured I'd share since I can't afford to even attempt getting him to come down on the price. I swear, some days I wish I just had a couple grand sitting around so I can play whenever someone gets tired of their old toys!

Also found these ones which were more reasonable on pricing...

    99 Honda VFR 800
    1985 Honda VFR 700 Interceptor

and this one for only $450... even if it's only good for parts...

    1985 Honda Interceptor VF500

But then I found this one that WAS for sale until some jack wagon stole it from the dude on a test ride. Shame... it's a pretty good looking VFR, too. Prob been parted out already.

    99 Honda VFR 800

Anyways, just thought I'd share some local finds and see if maybe I could help someone on here looking for a cheap fixer upper or something.

Hope you all had a great Memorial Day!

Wow, all pretty much over priced. Perhaps inflation hasn't hit our rural area as much.

Most everyone in Phoenix asks too much for their bikes regardless of how much they're actually worth. The game is not to be talked down more than you're willing to accept for the sale, while still making enough to cover what you put into it or what your looking to get from selling it.

The funny thing is that almost every ad I ever see for the '83-'89 VF/VFR's claim them to be part of a prestigous heritage and lay claim to the racing stardom of their time, even though the one they are selling probably has been laid down to the point of the plastics being worthless, and/or the innards requiring so much restoration due to their lack of proper maintenance over the years that it's probably on its last leg or at the least has maybe half the power and oomph that it's supposed to... yet they still want museum quality pricing because of it being a rare and collectible bike.

How does the guy selling the 1986 even get a drivers license? My dog can spell better than him.
