Sold my RC30, identity crisis

Last night I sold my RC30. So, am I still The RC30 Guy? A couple of days ago I bought a VFR1200, nice but completely different. About 200 lbs. heavier, no gear whine from the cams. What did I do?

I would suggest trying to exercise some wrist control (good luck with that:biggrin-new and not get any performance awards................and enjoy that 1200!

You blew it dude, how many RC30's [legendary endurance racing machine] did they make for the entire world--should have sold that POS harley...now you can be TheHarleyGuy--don't that sound just as cool?

 

I'll have to agree with this statement. Then again, we all have momentary lapse of sound judgement. Like the time I tried racing the car with the two tone paint job! Sucks being color blind, every thing is in black and white!

If you're really missing the gear driven cam noise, go pick up a nice 5 Gen, they have gear driven cams too, and much cheaper than an RC30!

Well first off, It's hard to understand why you would sell such a rare beast, one that I will never be able to own or ride but which I have dreamed of since the 80's. That said, things change and therefore I suppose we/ I shouldn't judge you too harshly as you have provided an opportunity for another enthusiast to enjoy the experience of ownership.

As far as you user name is concerned, I believe that you are now officially the X RC30 guy. Still a step above me as the wannabe RC30 guy.:beguiled:

I have to ask, what made you sell it? You must have had a really good reason.
If it were mine it would be parked in my living room with red velvet rope around it.
