While spending holiday in BC/AB (Vancouver/Calgary area) I spoke with a VFR pilot who was staying in the same B&B as I was. He mentioned this website as his source of VFR wisdom. After some surfing around I decided to sign up. Having owned a 91er CBR1000F followed by a 1995 CBR1000F I was looking for something more modern and more joyable to steer with. After some test ride's the VFR800 was the one which caught my attention. It drove very smooth compared to the 1000F and the throttle response with the VTEC added with it was an eyeopener. During our anual motor convention in Utrecht (Feb 2009), the Netherlands I bought a silver 2002 VFR with 2 Arrows mufflers mounted on it. Its an import from Italy which had 15280km of road experiance. A couple weeks ago I added a panier set which was was black but I got repainted in the silver colours. Besides the VFR as a hobby I work as a F-16 Tech. with the RNLAF @ Leeuwarden.
Congratulations on the purchase! I see you picked the fastest color too! :thumb: Welcome to the site.
Thnx all, I uploaded some more pictures. In the near future I'll post some more material taken at the TT Assen Circuit during WSBK and Moto Gp's from 2008 and the past... Missed both WSBK2009 en MotoGP 2009 at Assen due to work matters.....

Welcome aboard Arno. I've refueled some of your F-16's in the un-friendly skies of Afghanistan. As I'm sure you've already discovered, VFR's are awesome. KC-10 FE out... lane: :usa2:
Welcome I have friends with different bikes and each one who's ridden my older 92 vfr get off wide eyed and proclaiming its awesomeness. VFRs are truly unique bikes. _________________ When life deals you lemons ..... Shut up and eat your lemons.
