So Cal riders, let me through this out for a get together--On the back side of Mt. Baldy and close to wrightwood there are some campgrounds in the pines close to Jackson Lake. I was thinking of trucking my bike to a campground and setting up a bar-b-Q , have fellow riders ride in for rest and food, and use the location as a base of operations for all that show up to explore the local roads. This area is reachable from the 15 fwy, La Canada, or Palmdale. It is also close to Lake Silverwood, and Lake Arrowlhead. This particular area is lightly used as Rt. 2 is closed. Talk about it Pat.
