notice how it says item in the questions instead of what it is? How much longer before these scammers get your personal info in there and the e-mails are really legit sounding? I mean, I almost went for this one after a quick read.

Yah that is a strange one. He is either totally anal and organised yet unaware of how his requests looks to the warry or setting you up for something. I'm having some fun right now with Craigslisters. Sorting between the real ads and the scams is quite a challenge.

Have got that same email on a craigslist ad last year.

Huge red flags when the email is asking the same questions I already address in the listing.

I've seen these a few times too, I get emails for things I'm not selling and on an email account I would never use, even if I was selling something.

    Send him the response...

"Sorry I do not give my personal address but I can give you my business address.

    Make Check Payable to:
    Special Agent Phil McCraken
    U.S. Department of Justice
    950 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW
    Washington, DC 20530-0001"

    (I'm joking of course)

I got a huge surprise last week when I got an e-mail that informed me that I won 1 million British pounds! Oh yes I also got one this week about a VA load that apparently is all set up and waiting for me to just make contact (with my personal information).

My god there is just soo much of it!

I like forwarding emails like that to spamhaus or reading through the headers to find out where it actually came from (if I can figure it out). and people still fall for these things or get worked up about them.

"MOM. LISTEN TO ME. NOBODY IS DYING IN AFRICA WAITING FOR YOU TO CASH A CHECK FOR THEM. DELETE THE EMAIL."

I received the same email from the same scammer! Deleted right away. You'd think they would try to seem more convincing...
