I took a spin on my newly purchased 2000 VFR800 this afternoon, this is what the air temperature displayed: I rode off to a local lookout point to see if there is any photo opportunity for the VFR, but instead cought some nice shots of a local hanglider is trying to catch some wind.. I stood around for 10-15 minutes to wait for a good draft.. A failed attempt.. setup for another run.. we have lift off... up, up and away... hang time.. hang time.. touchdown! It is quite a workout to carry the parachute back up the hill.. especially with a hugely padded backside.. On my way home, I stopped by the neucular powerplant... you can tell it was quite windy this afternoon. Cheers to all, Happy holidays.
