    Hi Folks

As the title says, about an hour ago, I was shunted in the rear on my VFR 750 1995.

I was first in the queue at traffic lights and the car behind, new Ford Focus, slowly bumped me forwards. It broke the number plate off the car but the bike looks and feels fine. It's made contact with the back tyre and nothing else. I flopped around on the bike but didn't come off. The bike jerked forwards about 2 feet then I grabbed the brakes.

On the stand, the bearings feel smooth and don't have any play, exhaust, etc looks fine.

I rode it the 5 miles home and it felt fine.

I've agreed to get the bike checked by a mechanic and if it's fine, alls good. The driver was spot on.

As the bike feels fine, am I missing something? Any tips on what to look for that I might have missed?

This is the only 'accident' I've had on a bike in about 9 years.

    Cheers, CW

Check the rim for any sign of damage or distortion. I bent my front rim on slow speed pot hole, look at the edges. Glad you are OK.
