slipon or aftermarket

ok....1stly I doubt I will find anything, but here goes, where can I find a slip on or full exhaust system for my 85 VF1000?....I'll be patient, cause I think this will be futile. lol...

Have you tried Dennis-Kirk? My friend had an older bike that nobody carried pipes for and they had them.... One type to choose from but at least he has pipes now. Hopefully you find something....

 

Well to make things a little easier for you the VF750 exhaust slip-ons fit right on, at least they did on my 1984 VF1000F. There was a set on Ebay, but I think they are gone now, although I saw a complete system for the VF750 still on there but am unsure if it will bolt up.

I picked up an ok Yoshimura setup for $65.00 + 20.00 in shipping so they are out there. I had to strip the rust off the pipes and paint them but the $5.00 of paint and $5.00 of Muriatic acid was worth it. They came out decent, although the aluminum on the Yoshi mufflers could use some polishing still.

Unfortunately, I think I need to up the jets a bit.
