Welcome Beergineer! Pull up a chair and tell us more about the relationship you have with your VFR. How did you meet, how well do you get along, have you had any problems getting to know each other? Fill us in! We all want you to tell us how great it is, how it compares to a previous/ other moto(s),..... you know ....................stuff. Oh,.. and most important, post up a photo or two when you can.
My old KZ440LTD shit the bed at the end of last summer (I think it ate a piston ring) and wasn't worth sinking more money into. So I hit the trusty old craigslist and found this '06 VFR800 with 30,000 miles on it. It passed all inspection items except the license plate light. The tech/parts manager told me it wasn't stock, so I went on a bulb hunt and the stock bulb number does fit the socket and the wiring harness looks pretty damn stock as well. Can anyone confirm if this is the stock bulb housing? It is marked 'STANLEY JAPAN'.
