I dont wanna get into details right now, but mechanical issues have had me dwelling on the idea of a single-sided swingarm conversion... how difficult and expensive is this procedure? I'm just wondering what kinda feedback I can get from pros like yourselves...

I am seriously considering upgrading to a gen3... I love my gen2 but it's rapidly deteriorating because it's my daily rider and it's as old as me... anybody know someone who may be willing to trade? =P

    oh, the sorrow...

sigh... I need a new chain, already bought a rear sprocket that is now sittin' in my garage... and now, for some crazy reason, the rear sprocket studs keep coming loose and walking themselves out as I ride... they chewed gouges out of my swingarm :frusty: and I dont know how to fix it... I tried threadlock on the studs and put em back in, but they still come loose every once in a while. At first I thought it was my chain bein' too high tension, so I eased it up, but still... and on top of that, I think I've lost spark to one of my plugs due to old ass coils... oh, and I officially have an exhaust leak as of last night for reasons I can't fathom... I'm a shitty mechanic.

If the studs are coming loose on that sprocket, it is toast- chuck it.
Buy a new chain and a front sprocket while you are at it.
You might have to look into a used swingarm if you gouged enough material out of your current one.
And change that coil or the wire! This is minor stuff to fix!

You keep whining about minor mechanical stuff and the bike gods will smite you with the dreaded engine problems- then you are screwed my man.
