    http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=160797275590

If the link does not work search 160797275590 on eBay.

For those looking to do it, this looks to be the easiest way.

Ok, I see what they did. They took the Ducati hub and machined down the threads, then cut the end off of a VFR stem and welded the two pieces together. Would these wheels work with that stem?

If so, the combined price of the stem plus a wheel set could be in the $1500 range. That is totally reasonable for what you get. That wheel set plasti dipped in gold would be pretty damned bling.

The hardest fitment problem for the 800's is the 3 pot caliper. Most if not all of these conversions are using the 3rd/4th gen bikes with 2 pot calipers. You can convert to a 2 pot to make this work on the 5th/6th gens.

An easier mod would be to insert a Triumph spindle into your 3rd/4th gen and shim it a bit.

It might, better off asking them. I am sure they could make it to use that rim since they are all built to order.

I assumed since the conversion is built to order that they would have taken that into account, but you bring up a very valid point.

Thats a lot of cash to fit Ducati rear wheels to VFR's. Solution to a non-existent problem.

But at least its well thought out. NOTE: Some other modification is necessary to complete the conversion.
