Never tried it myself. But out of curiosity, what happened? Never seen a glass that fogged up before.

Is it truly glass or plastic? If it is glass it should withstand the moderate heat of powder coating, however, different co-efficients of expansion may cause it to separate or crack. Hopefully someone else has already done this without a problem.

I used an oven baked enamel on mine and didn't run the temp higher than engine operating temps 240f-ish. Another 100 degrees to Powdercoating temp and it would likely still be ok, but has risks for sure.

The guy doing the clear clutch cover mods (Sebspeed) probably has the answer.

When I had my clear clutch cover done by Sebspeed over on VFRD, he said he would press the site glass out for me so I could get the cover powder coated. Not sure how he pressed it out mind you. Like Tink said maybe shoot Seb a PM and ask. I think Seb is a member here as well as VFRD, but don't think he spends as much time on this site.

From time I sent the cover to Seb until returned it was about 4 weeks. This was over the Christmas holidays though so shipping times were longer than usual because of the holidays.
