short ride to morro bay testing bike before trip to races tomorrow

I got out for a bit today to shakedown the bike before we get loaded up and head out early in the a.m. for laguna seca... I'll be taking the iphone with me so if you know me on facebook, you'll get pics from the races again as it goes down.

Anyway, here's what's shaking round here today...


that's morro rock in the background... it was a little hazy and about 60 degrees at 11ish...

This pic looks washed out, but I was trying to show just how bright these flowers were. They seemed to glow. Just imagine thousands of backlit orange flowers that's what it looked like in person. The crazy thing was I had just passed a yellow field that did the same thing and almost took a pic. When I saw this one just down the road I had to stop and see if a camera could catch it. I think getting the bike in the pic messed it up as my camera couldn't handle enough color. Next time, I'll try and get it with my digital instead of the phone.

Anyway, that's all for now. I just wanted to share some pics with you guys. The bike feels fine and I don't anticipate any trouble getting to the race. (I'll be packed to the gill with everything anyway)
