If you do a forum search on Shorai you will find 40+ threads going back several years with loads of good info and recommendations.
I have a Shorai in my 919 and it's good. Lithium will be a bit more costly than conventional - it's arguable whether the cost difference is worth it.
    Take care!

Have them on all my bikes. No battery tender needed any more. If you need a battery tender I have one for sale :D

I too use one. Had it for almost a year now, have also not used a tender since getting it. No problems so far. Cost is worth it if you really want the weight savings, which I did ...

I read somewhere you need to have tip top shape charging system, to keep this type of battery top shape. Iwas thinking of switching to the Shorai but I still have the stock r/r on my 5th gen. I have Roadstercycle's kit but I'm procrastinating still. The stock r/r still works but gets quite hot. Knock on wood that it won't quit on me anytime soon!
