OK, so I downloaded a .pdf shop manual (thx again, Betarace) and I just started browsing through the 577 pages of this behomoth when I realized that it's mainly written in English, but with French, German and Italian translations at key parts of instruction.

I'm thinking then that this is a Euro version of the Shop Manual officially handed out by Honda back in '86 - which if that's the case is pretty cool stuff!

My concern is, since then the manual would be geared more to World marketed VFR's would that mean that the specs for the jets, clearances and other settings are not going to be U.S. standard then?

I'm getting ready to tear down my '86 on Saturday and do a carb clean, sync and valve adjustment and I'd hate to go diggin in and not have the right specs to put it back together with.

According to the book: Valve clearance is 0.130 mm (cold), 0.200 mm between camshaft and rocker arm, 0.800 - 0.900 mm gap in the spark plug, and I believe that it showed a #118 for the main jet but I can't seem to find where I saw that earlier :/

Anyone want to take a shot at this and tell me if the numbers are equivelant?
