Has anyone seen or used these shock absorbing crash protectors?

They have them for 5th and 6th Gens that do not require fairing drilling, select the bike with the picklists at the top.

I really like the idea, but I'm pretty skeptical that it would work. There are big forces at work when you crash, and I don't think it's the vertical impact that kills sliders/frames - it's hanging up on something while it's sliding.

My last bike got totaled out because the frame slider broke of in a crash and took a chunk out the frame with it, so I'd love a design that fixed that problem, but I don't see it there.

    Just IMHO.

    winaje,

Somebody on here has them (or the same concept, different company). I cannot remember who. I will need to search on that.

Ok, forget it, this is the guy's bike I was thinking about. His are not shock absorbing...they just don't require drilling is all. His member name is GR8TSCT
