Hi, my gen 6 seems to be having a problem whilst upshifting in Vtec, as I go to shift the lever feels solid and won’t change gear. Low speed/ lower RPM it’ll work through the gears no problem.

Any ideas what could be the issue?

Gears are "locked" in place by a ramp on the shift dogs. If there is any load (i.e. the engine is driving or the backwheel is coasting down on a closed throttle) then the gears are held in and you feel resistance through the pedal.

If you are having an issue then I'd suggest you think about either your shifting technique (and you should be able to easily shift up without the clutch just by backing off the power for an instant, which is all a "quickshifter" does) or the clutch might have some issue. Maybe worthwhile in the first instance doing a clutch fluid flush, if that doesn't help then you can remove the clutch slave and clean up the clutch lifter rod and make sure it is nicely greased).
