    Hi,

    I'm looking into getting a 1998 VFR800, which has 54,000kms on it.

It doesn't have a service log book with it, but looks very tidy from the photos. Apparently it had been recently serviced.

Based on my reserach on the net, I think the last service at 48,000kms was a major one and the next service at 54,000kms, which is pretty much now is a minor one. Then a major one at 60,000kms.

    This right?

Valves adjustment every 16k miles.......FYI not many owner perform this service
oil change every 4k miles depend on the owner, some do at 3k some do at 5k
I change my coolant every two years or when I feel like.
    Chain and sprocket around 20k
You might want to ask for service record before purchase the bike, Good luck :thumb:
