I hope you all had a great Christmas and have a fun New Year. I'm all geared up with my new cold weather gear, heated seat, grips, and all that good stuff and then it happens. This white cold powdered material drops from the sky. A lot of it. I'm from up north so I think nothing big about it. Wait till it passes I say, and I can't wait to get back out there. Well they have this wonderful idea down here of putting 8 pounds of gravel and sand down for every two feet of pavement. NOT FUN. Thus I sit here on my vacation, staring at the bike sitting there, taunting me. I had a slight slip on a cold tire already, don't want to try that again. So I decide to build. Now most of you have the know how, or ability in some capacity to build and play with your mechanical toys. Since I am less experienced I chose the things I can F Up with little consequence. Enter my new project. See below. So while I may not be riding this anytime soon. I can upgrade, modify and change my parts out with the flick of a wrist. I know, you are jealous. Check it out yo!!! Hope to hit the roads one of these days, but in the interim, I know where I will be! Also - for those of you looking for some deals, I stopped by and saw Kevin at Cycle Gear in Marietta today. They are having some pretty sweet sales.
Models are always a good wintertime activity. I miss my VFR, its supposed to get into the 40s here on friday. Needless to say, i'll be heading to my friends garage where the bike is stored, throwing the battery back in it and taking it for a spin.
