I have owned my very nice 2001 Italian Red VFR for 4 years and I am finally committed to selling it to fund a Blackbird. I have done all the mods that I wanted to it but a Blackbird keeps calling my name. It all started over a year ago when a buddy left me ride his Hayabusa. There is no replacement for displacement. I know a Blackbird isn't a Busa, but roll with me here this is a Honda forum. A cheap busa is still going to be 5000 and a 99 Blackbird starts at 3000. First my bike has so many mods on it that I am going to strip off anything and everything that I can take to my Blackbird and selling the rest.

Here is a list of things that I plan on selling, 2 piece Sargent Seat with red piping, almost new power commander III, high mount exhaust and my extra new rectifer.

The bike will still have a bunch of mods that I am leaving, red rim tape and Silver Honda logo's on the back wheel, (I am kidding, but they are pretty cool looking) Rear fender eliminator, Header has been powdercoated, 929 rear shock, wire my bike kit, zero gravity dark tint stock screen, k&n filter, mirror extenders, harris grips, flapper valve deleted, PVC routed to the exhaust, led's in dash, new chain and sprockets about 3k ago -1 tooth on front 16/43. Has 55k miles and valves adjusted at 53k so it is ready to go another 50k.

If you have any interest in the parts for sale or the bike let me know. I don't have all the mods off yet so all of my pictures where taken last summer so the bike will look a bit different with stock seat, muffler when I get everything switch off in the next few days.

    Prices for the parts
Sargent seat, 230.00 and 35.00 to US.
PCIII, 106-411, this will only fit the 2000/2001 model, 200.00 and 10.00 shipping.
Chrome mid pipe, high mount, no muffler, 200.00 15.00 shipping.
OEM Honda Regulator/Rectifer, brand new, never used 100.00 and 10.00 shipping. I take paypal.

What price range do you think it will sell at? My location is Northern Middle TN, near KY line.

The valve were recently checked and adjusted on this bike. I don't think you will have any trouble getting $3k for it.

And... I wanna ride that Blackbird!

Blackbird sales tanked mostly because the MC press kept touting the top end of the Hayabusa as the all to end all. The Blackbird quality wise is five times the Hayabusa.

I do wish it would go 190 instead of a punk 187.. Nothing like being able to make it back and forth to WalMart in just a few minutes.

What part of TN are you in? Moved to Nashville in August, I've only seen one other VFR since I did, and only once. I actually thought it was someone stealing mine for a second, as it was pretty close to where I live and the exact same bike I ride:p

And I shouldn't even be reading this post, it has me wanting to come up and buy yours even though I'm perfectly happy with my '98, apart from a couple of scratches.
