seat cowl mounting

    I do not have a seat cowl for my bike but was wondering if I am missing something , the 'rear' 2 mounting 'slots' are open is there supposed to be 'inserts' in them or are they just open to the elements

    I believe that if you don't have the cowl on, the slots are just open. That's the way it is on my bike anyway.

    Should have some plugs. Check partnumber 2, in this case for a 5th Gen.[​IMG]

    Yep...part number 2...keeps the plastics from cracking around the bolt.
