Did that require drilling the upper clamp?

No, it is easy to install. no drilling. I did a short ride. It works perfect and has a emergency circuit and adj for how much damping you want on the fly with a little dial. They sell a bigger dial that would work better. The damper will make the bike safer to ride and a bit easier too. Dial it up the bike will hold its line on very rough roads. like having a extra pair of hands. I don't know if its worth the money, but it could save the front end from washing out on a real bad hit on the front tire.:tsk:

Is this the model with the gyroscope so your bike won't fall over?

I do not. Don't need them. Reggie fixed me up with training wheels when I was down there in 2012.

Not a bad idea, but it doesn't look like you could make sharp turns with that extra wheel. I need to dial in the scotts now-I am not sure how to set up the emergency circuit . I believe the scotts has cut down the level hits I get from the clip-ons I get when hitting a bump by maybe 15% taking the edge off my hands. I am going to add a gps next-tom tom on my tank bag. I figured out the best gas to use is shell 89. Next project is change the fork oil with belray 7w HP mineral oil-looks like the best fork oil for a stock fork trying to soften out the bumps-its a 29 oil, stock flows around 36. I think I will get a stock air filter because I don't want to change the Fuel/air mixture. I have no credit card now because of a $1300 charge at frys-fraud and are getting a new one. I am looking for a new business to start up. Even though the scotts was expensive if it keeps me from wrecking the machine-It is worth the dough. :mask::torn::topsy_turvy: I am surpised that Randy doesn't have a slider on his bike. mine has al ready been tested and works perfect.

I had one on my old viffer, it was nice but I don't think I'd invest in another on my current one.
