Saying Hi! New to the Forum......

I'm on my second 5th Gen VFR. Sold my first one (red 2000 model) in '02 in favour of a GSXR 1000, and immediately regretted the decision. I loved the Big Gix too, however, and knew that deep down (like Peter Egan ) I just had to find another. She showed up 5 years later, this time in blue paint, as a pristine 2001 model, with barely 20,000 kms on the clock.

So here I am, proud owner of a "new" 2001 5th Gen, and a 2005 Gix 1000which replaced the 02 model.

Hope to learn from you guys. I am currently looking for parts to convert the front end of the bike, with USD forks and radial calipers. RC 51 front ends have the most potential, but they're hard to find. I will appreciate any help in this regard from my fellow Viffer riders.

Quite a big VFR following in this part of the world too.

Love what you did to your front end, MD. And your pic of the rear brake de-link is a particularly good one. I'd previously thought that this could only be done at the rear MC.
