Hi all I was at the scrap yard when this moron was unloading this streetbike to scrap it,needless to say gave the dude 50$ bucks for bike. After I got the title I brought it home charged battery, cleaned carbs and tank, baby fired right up now I am in the process of finding s way to go from the duel Kawasaki khi k 501 exhaust to a single exhaust any suggestions. I know this is a Honda not sure how the Kawasaki pipes were installed however I'm not complaining the fairings are decent motor runs(puurrrrs) with 60,550 miles on it I would really like a different exhaust.

post up a picture. this sounds a LOT like a bike I worked on once. guy threw some ZX14 mufflers on. the VFR didnt come with 4:1's, it was left two cylinders had a left pipe, right two were the right pipe.

    Sweet bike

I've ridden many bikes from buddy's andduch. This bike actually handles very nicely I can't wait til I can spend some time with it and really restore it to it's prime.

ah, ok. well, search ebay, I saw a Yoshimura 4:1 for that generation VFR awhile ago. alternately, since its 4 individual tubes, and two collectors on the mufflers, you could make a Y pipe of sorts and make a 4:1 on whichever side you wanted.
