So my wife has been unhappy with her pretty heavily modded sv650 and lost interest in riding. We went down to bike week and i noticed she kept pointing out bobbers and cafe racers. So ive been looking around at different bikes that she night like and saturday i went to the local honda/yamaha/triumph/ktm/kawasaki/suzuki dealer where i bought my vfr. I was showing her the star bolt cspec and from across the dealer she spotted a 2015 triumph thruxton. What a gorgeous bike! So we started the paperwork and the sales manager walks over to me and says "hey i have a surprise for you". 5 minutes later he walks in with the matching hard bags that came on my bike. He says "im pretty sure these are yours and i didnt know we had them. Take them." so im super stoked about the bags. We took the bags home, grabbed the sv650, ans finished the trade. They gave upva great price and threw in the 1st 3 services and a ture warranty for free. All in all my wife is super happy, we only financed 5k, and that thruxton rides great and was super fun.
Who cares about the bike, tell us more about your wife! :boink: I'm always jealous when someone has a wife that will ride. All I get is "You're spending too much on that damned toy!"
Congrats on the new bike. Its good you want to keep her happy. My lady likes my new vfr so instead of just sharing it, I'll get a new red one for myself and she can have it. Just glad she rides with me.
