Well here in sunny so.cal we were given the oppurtunity to test our abilites to ride in the rain/sprinkles. been riding my 2k vfr for a year and five months. this was the first in the wet. we had a very wet winter and i rode several times every month and missed all the rain. i mounted my stead in clairemont and went about twenty feet to the stop sign and almost feel over putting my boot down on the wet limit line! getting to the 5 no. was the scary part on city streets. freeway was ok and several other bikes were in view most of my ride to oceanside. once i could count six bikes in my area. couldn't see their smiles or whatever because of the helmets. i am still standing by my metzler roadtec z-7. i made it home, right! RIDE SAFE AT ANY SPEED!!!!!!!!!!
