I know there's probably a dozen threads on bags, but I just can't find what I'm looking for.

I have a 5th gen, with a high-mount exhaust, so I need to make sure the exhaust won't be in the way.

I'm looking for some simple bags. I don't need lots of storage - if I could hold a change of clothes and basic toiletries, maybe a "heavy" shirt, and some rain-gear, that would be fine. Being able to hold all this plus a spare visor would be a bonus.

I wouldn't mind having a bag that was on the back, since I don't ever ride 2 up. I can either put the cowl on or leave it off - I like the way the bike looks either way, but I don't know if some bags will only function one way or the other.

I've looked/considered the magnetic tank bags, but there just not my style.

I'm tired of taking the backpack and using the fishnet bungee to hold it down.

Not overly concerned about theft, but if there was some basic security (i.e someone has to unscrew the grab handles to steal the bag) that's a plus.

Being waterproof is obviously an advantage as well, although I guess that's a lot to ask for in a soft bag. While I've done it, I'm not a fan of riding in the rain. (yea yea, I hear the "sissy" comments, lol).

Price is something to be considered, Yes, cheaper is better, but its not like I'm limited.

I definitely don't want bags that are going to be flapping and vibrating all over the place as I ride down the road.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions, comment and opinions.

I had the Chase harper stealth bags. They are a bit small but you can easily get enough for a overnight trip in them. Now I have some cortech bags. They are a good bit larger but still work fine with my high mount TBR slip on.

    Cortech bags with tail bag.
