i've been looking for an exhaust system for me 85 vf700 interceptor, and stumbled along. is the 85 sabre exhaust the same/compatiable with the interceptors ? i see they make a 4 into 1 for the sabre, and was thinking of purchasing then modifying to the interceptor. any info would be greatly appreciated.

The angle of the engines is close - and the Sabre does use a mono shock. You would probably have have to adjust the muffler angle - but I don't know why it wouldn't work . . . just make sure it's for a V45 Sabre.

I was kinda thinking that myself. Its a complete system, so i was already planning of cutting off the muffler part and installing a mid pipe along with the pipe which ever i decide on.
