    Wow! Great report but there's one problem. You guys ride 2 miles away from my house and I never knew you're there. The picture above Oakland was taken at "The Wall" a very popular bike hangout. Sounds like you had a great ride, thanks for sharing!

    Thanks for the pics. Looks like a great ride. Did you take the old mule road to Lick Observatory, the one for cars only with lots of turns? I used to spend a lot of time in Sunnyvale area. Some those pics are very familiar.

    We rode up the 'backside' of Mt. Hamilton, Mines Rd (in Livermore) to the Junction, San Antonio Valley Rd. until it turns into Mt. Hamilton Rd. After our visit at Lick we continued down the 'front' side on Mt. Hamilton Rd. Lots of turns yes; but cars only? Hmmm... I rode that road for the first time in about 1980. :cool:
