ok, so I am a little bit of a geek and have started working combining this with my new found enthusiasm for motorcycle riding. I had done a previous google map mashup for my trip tot Australia and thought I can do something similar for riding. This was a little tougher, getting all the waypoints and showing the routes was new to me, but it was fun to learn. It is a work in progress but I wanted to run it by the forum here to see what people think. After looking at it, let me know if you like it and what features you would expect to see or any other comments you might have. Not sure of what would be important to record about trips. The calculated distance and my actual distance is not exact, but it it pretty close. For example my odometer for today's ride was 107.2 miles, the maps calculated it at 108 - I can live with that. Motorcycle Rides Also, I have not tested it on IE, only Firefox and Safari, so my apologies beforehand if it doesn't work for you if that is what you use.
very cool. I have thought of doing that myself but when I started it and saw how long it was taking, I back out.
