    has anyone used this helmet?

i love the look but have heard in the past that this style of 'flip' helmet is extremely noisy. i use a caberg justissimo at the moment, i find that quite noisy but not all that bad?

any advice would be greatly appreciated

I have a Nolan flip-up helmet, and it is definitely a lot noisier than the Shoei I typically wear. I still use my Nolan around town where the noise is not an issue - because I wear glasses, flip-up helmets are lot easier to take on and off without having to remove my glasses. If I were to pick a primary helmet, though, I wouldn't pick a flip-up one. They are typically not Snell rated (puncture rating here in the States).

thanks for that mate, i will take that on board, there have been a few stories in the papers regarding the EU helmet safty standards, so Snell rating is important to me.
