Yesterday I was riding with some friends for Memorial Day, and we ran into some fog going up Palomar Mountain. It is kinda weird knowing the road, but not being able to see it. Anyways, we rode out of the fog near the top, and it was like flying above the clouds. Video doesn't do it justice unfortunately.

I know the video is long, the fog starts around the 2:00 mark.

Happened to me once on the Angeles Crest Highway, started in an overcast, then came out on top of the clouds to a sunny day! Fantastic.

Riding in the fog is kind of a surreal experience. Many years ago -about thirty- I had my first experience (riding in the fog) in copper canyon in Chihuahua Mexico. Since then, I've ridden in foggy conditions more times than I care to remember. None of them have been a pleasant experience, but a learning experience none the less.
