RIDE2REACH.COM is a Canadian charity organization that I've helped established since last year. It received its non profit charitable status last month because of the kind of outreach we created. Supporting 8 different children's foundation across Canada, our ride in September is to create awareness by trying to experience at least in 7 days what life would be like other unfortunate kids out there. I've chosen my 3rd Gen to complete this journey, it may not be as epic as others may have done with theirs but I hope as it belongs to this kind of bike group have its iconic character recognized. I will be riding with another volunteer who has an SV650. We'll be taking off on September 2nd to try and reach our first destination in Newfoundland. Next is Prince Edward Island - Quebec and Montreal and head back to Toronto to finish our journey at the SICKKIDS hospital. Please support my endeavour by just visiting our site at Ride 2 Reach and see the different life experience in our facebook page. And while you're there, it wouldn't hurt if you choose to "LIKE" the page button. Happy Journey VIFFER lovers:biggrin:
Good luck with the ride and keep us posted. How many km/miles do you have on your bike now and have you upgraded any of the OEM electrical components in the past (R/R, Wiring harness, stator) ??? Rollin
Its about to hit 60000 kms. I've recently replace the rectifyer when it broke down on me. I've only replaced the connectors from the main wiring harness. Most of my rider volunteers have 2005 up bike models and have been asking me to replace the old buffalo LOL. But I'm confident the VIFFER can handle the task
