I had an amazing ride the other day and anyone looking for a route to Cali through Oregon I highly recommend hitting the Oregon coast. 97 is also a fun route but the camping and beaches are amazing! Full showers in the state parks and I love the Yurts.

Been through parts of the coast but this was a great ride!

I thought Boring Oregon was odd but Idiotville?

For those unfamiliar with the various PNW critters, Yurts are small versions of Sasquatches and are able to climb trees.

All the parks and campgrounds do not have showers but wait long enough and the Lord will provide.

Ah yes, the almost extinct yurt sasquatch. I'll keep an eye out.

The parks that did have showers I was amazed how nice they were. Great camping compared to some other states, and who cares if you get dirty anyways as it's an amazing ride along the coast with the wind to air ya out.

There are county parks that have camp spaces too. Some have showers, some don't. Another source worth investigation are city and county fairgrounds that allow overnight camping. In mid summer some of the campgrounds on the main highways (101 for instance) fill up. Sometimes the staff will allow a bike in even though all the spaces are technically full.

Other camp areas have spaces that are not particularly near the "facilities" but are available even when the sign says. "full".

Always carry Saquatch and Yurt repellent when travelling and camping in the PNW.

That is indeed what they look like when on the ground. When up in trees they are harder to see, then they jump people. Dozens go missing in the PNW every year. Do not be taken in by this, on the ground, benign appearance. These are savage creatures with evil intent.

Yurts are sensitive to subject verb agreement. The Yurts depicted are quite alive. In fact if one looks closely they are in full estrus.

Both are on the endangered species list. No hunting or trapping of either. Keep in mind that this is only to keep us from hunting them. It does not keep them from hunting us. ;)
