Just a quick few words on the Bilt Expander tank bag.

I picked one up on sale for $39. The magnets are large and quite strong. Weight limit is advertised at 5 lbs., but I bought it at the same time as about 10 lbs. worth of stuff. It held on to the tank at triple digits and didn't budge in the twisties. Zippers are smooth and it expands to almost double capacity. At regular price of $70, that seems WAY too steep. On sale, I don't see ANY reason to buy a different brand with the same basic features.

Thanks for the review. I saw all the Bilt stuff (tank, tail and saddle bags) for sale in the Cycle Gear flyer I got and was wondering about some it. Looks like good prices.

Yeah, the pricing is really good right now. I forgot to mention the fabric is nice and thick. It's not the thin stuff that they make cheap bags out of. More like the thick stuff used on a textile riding jacket. The sales on all their gear goes until 1/1/13.
