Hi all, Funny how things work out. I've just bought a nice '97 VFR750FV which is my third VFR. I bought a '95 750FS in Y2K, traded it in for a new '02 Vtec which was sold to buy a new '05 BMW R1200GS. Now I've gone full circle by selling the GS and buying this pretty clean 750. I regretted selling my first 750 about a year into owning the Vtec. Good bike as the Vtec is, I missed the whirr of those gear driven cams. So here I am, all in love with the mighty VFR.....again. The pics are : My first 750FS, my Vtec and finally my latest steed. The red rim tape has already been removed and the bike put back to standard, although I've already fitted Y2K mirrors. I'll be spending the winter months getting the new (old) 750 up to my standard ready for next seasons riding.
good man. I've managed to keep a Viffer or 3 since I first met my 97. great ride by the way - excellent choice...... stock seat worked well for me - that one. welcome back! - we've been expecting you......
Thanks, guys. As for the weather......right now, it's both cold and wet. Guess that's how Ireland gets the 'emerald isle' tag. However, that means plenty of time spent in the garage this winter fettling my VFR and getting her to the way I like them......which is very clean.
