Finished my lower cowl today.Got one from a 500 off one of our members, modified the top wheree there was exhaust clearance issues. Painted the top halpf red to tie in with the red on the tank. Painted the vent to match fork brace. The rest of the bike needs a paint job, but that's a winter project, time to ride is now. Summer is short here.

Thanks, Toe, Like I stated, it needs a complete paint job when you get up close, It does run pretty good for 49,000 km.
I want to put the top end oiling kit in for the cams, right front cam clatters a wee bit, but she goes when you twist the throttle.

That looks like a VF700F/750F cowl to me. The 500's lower cowl is much smaller than that. I guess it really doesn't matter, it looks great!

Wow, looks great. My F is in parts scattered around the garage, hopefully next spring it'll be back together and look as good!

Yes I would agree with the 750, the 500 does not have the finned inlet, either way it looks great, shame about the rattle in the tappets. Have fun ridding while the sun shines.
