ReStyling 1985 VF700F...can it be done easily?

As a first post I want to thank the members and the site...I have viewed a lot of the info but never got involved.

I bought a 1985 Vf700f for almost nothing and of course it needs work - I need to mount the front fairing brace and everything that goes on it, new fork seals and fluid, sync the carbs along with antyhing else that might arise.

I need help finding a new battery (no local stores...online would be good for me!)

In addition to the mechanical issues I really would like a full fairing and a modified 'nose cone'...what is the best fit from a newer bike??? Or does anyone know a custom supplier for this bike???

I was told that the 1986 plastic is almost a direct bolt-on replacement for 1985 plastic.
