Restoring VFR800P (police version)

    Hi to all! I just want to share my restored VFR800P. I haven't ride this bike far since I have few reliability concerns as of the moment but at least all systems are in good order.

    That picture of the dash is amazing, in all my years of looking at Honda's I have never seen such a cool gauge package
    In it's day that bike must have been leading the pack in new idea's

    I'm assuming the center speed measurement in the red square is peak speed reached. Used when pacing traffic as record of offender speed.

    1998 Interceptors are 25 years old as of 2023, so they should qualify for the 25 year rule. It should be possible to import and register an ex-duty 1998 VFR800P here in the States.

    Accordingly, this is a 2000 vfr800 model. I've tried searching online using its chassis number but no luck. Chassis Number is RC49-1001102
